Anyone know where they stock these? I want to look at them and possibly try some on. There aren't any in my local Schu store. We live in Stoke.

Does anyone know if the Trafford Centre or Cheshire Oaks may be worth a visit?

You could try somewhere like Cotswold Outdoors. Sole Trader in Stoke stocks Teva, as do OUTDOOR AND COUNTRY RETAIL LTD
THE OLD SCHOOL, STONE ROAD, BLACKBROOK
Newcastle, ST55EG
0344 844 8998

Got that from the Teva site. I'm nowhere near Stoke.

I think I got mine from ASOS, ordered different styles and then returned what didn't work (for free I think?)

ZaZathecat · 28/07/2025 22:33

Sole Trader, Office, Blacks and a few others according to their store locator

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 29/07/2025 07:31

Go to an outdoor gear store

Picklechicken · 29/07/2025 07:55

Asos. You can order loads of different sizes / styles using Klarna and just send back the ones you don’t want.

EBearhug · 29/07/2025 08:09

Outdoor shop.

So irresponsible to do this.

Vinted?

Why? I do this all the time. It's literally the only reason I ever use Klarna!

Asos have taken to banning people who order and return loads of stuff.

Radioundermypillow · 29/07/2025 14:09

I don't use Asos - too old. But often buy two sizes of things or three types of dress and just keep one. I'm not scared of getting banned from an online shop 😆

Radioundermypillow · 29/07/2025 14:10

I came here originally to say that I got mine from Marks and Spencer last year.

luckylavender · 29/07/2025 14:10

For all those of you up in arms, it’s bad for the planet, it’s not sustainable (lots of returns go to landfill) and it’s the reason High Streets are dying and there is no growth.

Freedbagforlife · 29/07/2025 14:14

i ordered 2 sizes from Next for store collection, tried on in the home dept and returned the pair that didn’t fit straight away.

What, online shopping? Is it morally ok to buy something online and then send it back? Or should you always keep it even if it doesn't fit, just to be nice?

I agree online shopping has damaged the high street, but until my rural high street has shops selling the clothes I like I'll carry on ordering online thanks.

Read a suggestion elsewhere that a tax on online shopping should be up for discussion (think it was aimed at propping up the state pension?) - sounds a good idea when you consider the number of vans zooming about all the time.

luckylavender · 29/07/2025 14:44

It’s fine to buy things online but not to regularly buy half a dozen things with intention of maybe keeping one. It’s terrible

Of course its not. Do you never try on different clothes in a shop? Never take a few things to the changing room and only buy one, or none? Do you think shops throw everything away that's on the rail outside the changing room? Do you drive to the shop?

luckylavender · 29/07/2025 16:05

@Radioundermypillow- you really think that Shein, Temu, Asos and the like operate like your local Top Shop or whatever used to? They don’t, they largely send returns to landfill.

I don't buy anything from any of those companies. Mainly John Lewis if you must know, and M and S, neither of which dump their returns in landfill.

Radioundermypillow · 29/07/2025 16:37

Well, to be fair that whole article is a PR piece for a new company.

My brother actually runs a mail order company. He would laugh at you if you suggested he throw returns away. Decent clothes are expensive to make, so they get cleaned and put back in stock. If they are damaged then they go to recycling. Like all stores.

I do agree that we don't need as many new clothes, but buying a dress in a 10 and 12 and a top in blue and green and sending two back is hardly hideously wasteful.

Picklechicken · 29/07/2025 23:46

luckylavender · 29/07/2025 13:53

No, it’s how people shop, how they’ve always shopped, and will continue to shop. It’s like taking a load of clothes into a fitting room and trying them on. The minute online shops stop people doing this will be the death of online shopping.

Asos have put a limit on people returning things to some extent (for example, many people now have to keep £40 worth of stuff otherwise they pay £5 for returns) but it’s still acceptable to return stuff.

floppybit · 29/07/2025 23:52

Go to the Trafford Centre

BashfulClam · 30/07/2025 00:00

I bought mine direct, I used the sizing guide on the website (using A4 paper next to my foot then taking a picture). Size was spot on, they are true to size.
