Any beauticians/dermatologist types to help me change my skincare routine??

Am totally stuck in a rut buying expensive Dermalogica products that don't seem to be doing a HUGE amount for my skin.

Basically - I suffer with greasy acne prone skin. I always use oil free products and non-comedogenic (sp?) products.

Am religious about taking make up off at night. I use Dermal Clay Cleanser and Active Moist.

Can anyone suggest a good routine/products?

No help from me but WatsTheStory is your gal she'll be along later with good advice & others too!

Snap SmoothandWilkie!!! I used exactly the same products for ages (and have the same skin as you). Gave it all up for Nivea oil-free moisturiser (and the normal one occasionally for when my skin feels a bit parched) and a simple tea tree oil face wash from the health food shop type place.

Dermalogica is good for occasional stuff like facial scrub but for the daily stuff I think it's a bit of a rip-off... Moisturiser is basically WATER with a load of other stuff emulsified into it...

Hope someone with ahem actual knowledge about this comes along soon...

will watch this with interest - I posted a while ago about my skin - its very oily and even a lot of the oil free moisturisers I use leave me looking really greasy by the end of the day.

Watsthe - that looks really interesting. Are you a dermatologist or do you suffer too?

I am always really scared of changing products in case it worsens my skin. My acne is very mild now, mainly on my chin and jawline (which I believe is hormonal). You don't think that range would be too strong and dry my skin do you?

Am going into town later so will have a look at it. Is it expensive?

That's great - thank you so much for your advice. I will get some bits and report back to you when I have used them for a few weeks.

Sorry to be a pain but one more question: What would you use? There are quite a few products in the acne range. Would you use them all or just one or two? Also, the moisturiser on there is for extremely dry skin that is a result of acne treatment. I don't fall into this catergory - my skin is greasy but not at all dry. Which moisturiser should I try (would prefer oil-free).
