Options for wonky front teeth

I'm considering braces for front teeth at the top that overlapquite a bit, they seem to be moving more as I age.
The rest of my teeth are fine it's just really the front two I want corrected.
I don't really like the perfectly straight, white, turkey teeth look so I'm not looking for perfection just want the front 2 to be straighter and more symmetrical to each other.

Can anyone recommend a tried and tested orthodontic treatment to go for and give and idea of cost and duration?
I'm quite openminded and would consider anything from train tracks to Invisalign but have a low to medium budget.

I had full train tracks on my top teeth, not the bottom. It cost £2000 and that was quite a while ago now.. probably 2010 so 15 years ago. I had an overlapping front tooth. Treatment was 6 months and 15 years on, I can say it was well worth the money. So lovely to have straight teeth after feeling self conscious for so long. They aren’t perfect but I feel like they look better with a bit of imperfection.
£2000 felt like a lot of money back then. No idea how much it would be now.
good luck

I got a layer of filling put on one of mine to make them appear the same even though they are squint as I can’t afford braces. That may not help you though depending on how squint and how much continued movement. Mine was £40.

I had Invisalign two years ago. Top and bottom, took about ten months. Cost £3750 for everything - all appointments, moulds, sets, refinements, retainers etc., No sneaky extra costs.

You cannot just move two teeth in their own , you need to create space and it’s a bit like moving beads along a piece of string so more than those two teeth will end moving.

You are best off asking your dentist to recommend an orthodontist , that is someone who specialises in braces , and they can talk you over the many types of braces, the costs and the pros and cons of each so you can decide what is best for you.

Bear in mind whatever brace system is used you will have to wear retainer s, at night , for life to make sure nothing moves back afterwards.

I'm having 'white' train tracks at the moment, upper only, £2600. Ceramic braces. Will be 12 months min in my case as lots to move.

Invisalign. My two front were totally crossed over and now they’re practically next to each other. Not the perfect turkey teeth look, just my own teeth, but 98% straighter
