cordless mini hot brushes that seem to be advertised everywhere - any good?

It's probably just me, now that I've clicked on a couple, but my social media feeds are full of ads for these, and I keep being tempted (hence perpetuating the advertising, I know). They are small handbag sized hot brushes, cordless, go up to 200 degrees, rechargeable.

They are about £40 - the ads keep saying this is half price and it'll soon go up because of tariffs etc, but I'm fairly sure that will be a marketing tactic and there will always be some around that price. It seems too cheap to be any good, but I don't know. The product reviews on the ads are always good, but no independent reviews really which is a red flag. There are various ones that all look kind of similar, numoya is the brand that comes up most, but there are others. Mostly advertising for travel, as they are USB rechargeable. I have very thick and frizzy/wavy/curly hair that reacts badly to weather/wind/being outdoors at all; I have tried all the miracle creams and balms and gadgets on the market, with little success, so I'd not be expecting miracles, but the idea of something I could take in my handbag for things that might just smooth it even a little is quite appealing. But if it's cheap crap that will stop working in no time, or do nothing much, or have safety risks or whatever, then it's a waste of money.
anyone with any experience?

If it's Tymo they're dreadful. I bought one and it just didn't do anything to my hair, complained videoed it they said oh might be a faulty unit, sent me another, exactly the same. Chased them for 6 months for a refund and gave up and did a charge back via my credit card

They're not Tymo, as I think those have cords. But I wouldn't be surprised if it was similar quality... thanks

I've a Tymo (cordless). Find it good for maintaining smooth/straight hair that's already been straightened (using Steampod) e.g. went away recently for 4 day break, Steampod too big to bring so used it on the morning I left and then used the Tymo each day of the trip to keep hair straight - found it really good. Useless for straightening non-straight hair on its own though IYKWIM - my hair is naturally very thick, wavy & curly frizzbomb.

thanks, I hadn't realised Tymo did the cordless ones as well. I wonder if they are the same as the numoya or whatever they are. Tymo I think is on amazon, which might make returns easier. Sounds like we have similar hair, frizz bomb is about right. I blow dry with a GHD duet blow dry brush or dyson, and sometimes straighten as well with straighteners or hot brush, and sometimes then add bits of curl back with curl secret, but not totally happy with any of it as it still ends up a frizz bomb with whatever products I use, as soon as I go out. The hair dresser blow dries and curls it as she does so and it stays for ages then so I know it must be possible!
