Subtle mascara

Does It exist any more? I used to use Clinique naturally glossy mascara in dark brown and it did exactly what I want - colour and a bit of added definition. Everything now seems to be thickening, lengthening, curling etc and aimed at the lash extension look, not what I’m going for at all. All my trials and errors are getting expensive

Glossier lash slick is very similar, they do it in brown too. It is all I use as I much prefer a natural lashes look

Thanks, that was the first one I tried. I only use mascara about once a week and found that after a few weeks it had really dried out. Not sure if I was just unlucky or if it’s a general problem. Has it happened with yours?

I saw a video online, Rimmel Thrill Seeker mascara in Cappuccino.
Looked really natural in the video.
They had it in Tesco last night

I’m with you OP - that was my favourite mascara and colour, gave just the right amount of definition without clumping, lasted ages and didn’t dry out. All other formulations I’ve tried from Clinique have been horrible - thick, clumpy and dry out within a few months. Haven’t found anything that comes remotely close, so watching with interest.

watching with interest - I bought that on repeat for years and I’ve yet to find anything half as good.
