Help me find a decent skincare regime - tropic or others?

I’m 50 plus and I have sensitive dry skin.

In my 20s I got on with Garnier wash and a cream for dry/ sensitive skin
In my 30s and 40s I went to Clarins but the sensitive forming cleanser and sensitive skin day and night cream and then to got really expensive and wasn’t that easy to get hold on

I’m now 50 plus and have decided to do a rank over my diet, fitness and wardrobe as I’m exhausted and although my skin has always looked good it’s starting to suffer.

I need something that I can enjoy putting on and smells great for sensitive skin. I wash my hands in E45 due to skin allergies. I have an auto immune disease and my skin does drink moisturiser. I have never got on with toner and found it stung and dried my skin.

I have a bit of a bee in my bonnet on men and how their skin care costs a lot less compared to women but my husband is enjoy it if it makes you feel good. I love nice scents. I have ADHD so feel completely overwhelmed with choice on websites often.

A lady in my knitting group aged 60 has great skin and said she uses Tropic? I had a look - but oh my giddy aunt loads of choice too much and scented / unscented.

Any recommendations of where to start or what products to order?

God, definitely not Tropic! Overpriced, smelly tat that's really a money making wheeze.

Have a look at La Roche Posay, nice quality simple products, reasonably priced.

Look at the brand Fresh. Their stuff is gorgeous. Especially the rose moisturiser.

I love Tropic
if you have a local Tropic ambassador- invite them round for a 1-2-1 , they can assess your skin and its condition , advise you on products and do a mini facial make over for you
The products are reasonably priced and they changed something for me without question when I didn’t like it
lovely smells
good products
local business

A LRP starter kit like this might suit. Superdrug and Boots both often do quite good special offers.
