To fascinate, or to hatinate?!

I’m going to a wedding next month. Hats or similar are expected. I can’t wear a hat because my head is too big. My friends tell me fascinators are very old hat (haha). What’s the verdict of MN? Are “hatinators” (ugh) ok? If so where do I get one?!

Don't do either. If anyone comments throw a lace mantilla over your head and hum the theme from the Godfather

I actually quite like the look of some of them I’ve seen but don’t want to look like an old crock!

Yeah maybe a mantilla @Menopants 🤣

What about a substantial headband - kinda does the same thing but without being a bit twee like fascinators

I think fascinators are horrendous and really old fashioned, especially those with stupid little hats on them.
I too have a massive head and have to wear mens hats.
They had trouble finding me a hat when I worked as an air hostess 😂
They only do sun hats in ladies xxxx I can't find any fancy hats.
You'll just have to go hatless or wear a wrap around scarf. I never wear hats. I'd only wear one if I was going to Buckingham Palace.
