Breast augmentation mid/late 40s

Has anyone in their mid to late forties had a breast augmentation? I saw a documentary last week about a new technique: a minimally invasive technique where the process takes 15 minutes, you’re sedated rather than put under general anaesthetic and the results looked great.

I’ve wanted a breast augmentation for ages but have been put off due to the risks of a GA, so this sounds a better option.

Im keen to hear from other ladies who have had a breast augmentation in their forties - as the skin is thinner - and whether they’re happy with it.

Hi OP sorry I haven’t had one but I am mid 40s and did consider it for a while . I say if you want to do it go for it. The Olivia atwood documentary shows a women around that age who had a lunchtime op in Harley street she was awake and the procedure was flawless

No! Don’t do it op! Your decision of course but women generally put on some weight five or six kilos on average during menopause and then, trust me, you will be wishing for a smaller bust. It’s not just the weight itself it’s the distribution of it, I am trying hard in my sixties to avoid the uniboob look!

Augmentation always seems like madness to me, but I've wanted a reduction for years (and mine aren't even that big, but they're still in my way all the time—can't get from down dog to low lunge in one move, cos there they are). Clothes look better with small tits!

Do they do reductions and lifts under sedation? It's the GA that puts me off.

I know i'm bumping an old thread, but I just felt compelled to reply this, as a small-breasted woman who has never been happy with her itty bitties. Lots of women with small breasts are unhappy with them; big boobs are the beauty standard and are glorified. Men seem to prefer bigger in general, and in turn that makes women feel less desirable with smaller ones (NOT that the male gaze is everything; it is not. But it undeniably plays a part in how heterosexual women view and feel about their own bodies).

I do understand why women with very large breasts would want a reduction if they have pain/discomfort. I'm not sure that reductions are possible with sedation alone, as they are far more involved procedures than augmentations, based on what I've read...but I could be wrong!

I had them last done when I was 45 twenty years later they still are ok , little lower on the chest now, but at my age it would look silly with high pointing breasts, I think the secret is not to go too big, I wear a 34 DD it's not too big just right for my frame.

I am about to turn 40 and wondering if it’s worth it at this age.
