Going out for a posh lunch today, help with outfit needed.

I posted earlier in the week and consensus was that trousers and tunic top wold be suitable.
I was planing to wear, white wide leg linen trousers and a green tunic top, with sandals.
BUT It is cold and raining heavily.
Do I continue with the previous outfit or raid my sparse wardrobe????

Continue with said outfit. Unless a country walk was part of the afternoon too. You will only be walking from the car to the restaurant, non? Take a brolly.

I think its temperature that determines what you should wear in terms of lightness of fabrics , and its certainly not cold at this time of year. Have a lovely time!
