Biotin. Finally seeing a change

Hi all
thought id share this as it was on MN that I got the recommendation. I’ve been taking biotin supplements for about 5 months and today I washed my hair and hardly any came out! I mean, almost none. This is down from massive handfuls. I can’t think of what else it would be but I’m very excited about it!

That’s great news!

Yes I’m the same, menopausal, curly hair which only is brushed when wet. Been taking it for months and yes I think it’s helping !🥳

Ooh I think I need to try this. My hair has always fallen out easily but it’s getting worse (mid 40s).

Any brand recommendations please ?

I use Geeks Biotin from Amazon £6

I‘ve been using this. It’s a years supply.

I've been taking Biotin for nearly 2 years now and found a noticeable difference in my nails which are not peeling or breaking as much and also in the length and condition of my hair, eyelashes etc.

What it hasn't done is help with replacing the thinning hair around the front and temples. I still have much less hair there than on the rest of my head. You can see when the light shines on it and this has been corroborated by my (very honest) hairdresser!

I take Solgar 5000ug tablets so is a pretty hefty dose!
