Greenie nail help!!

I have been getting my nails done with biab for about a year now and love them, however one of my nails lifted a little at the bottom and now the nail turned green underneath the biab. I've booked an appointment to get it removed but I take it I'm going to need to do something to treat this? My nails have always been super weak so I love having them done with biab because otherwise they break easily and are sore. I take supplements and eat well etc but they've always been like this. Does anyone have any advice on treating this/ if I'm going to need to give them a rest from the biab for a while? I'm going on holiday next month and hoping to have nice nails for going. It's my one splurge on myself every month.

You won't be able to have ANYthing on your nails until it has all completely gone. The biab needs removing ASAP.

Which brands did your nail tech use? And did they use the same brand lamp? Have you been using cuticle oil daily? Of course sometimes you can do everything right and they just lift/water gets under/you react.

You,ll need to get them off now and get some antifungal nail paint ASAP.. untreated fungus can destroy your nail beds and cause permanent nail damage.they will be fine if you treat them immediately. I've had this before.

Earliest I could get booked in for is 2 days away, I don't want to try and peel it off myself incase I cause more damage. Any recommendations on the anti fungal nail paint? Do I get this from the chemist?

She used the same lamp/biab as previously, been going there for about a year now. My nails are weak and bend a lot so they always eventually lift at the base but I've never had this issue before.

Some brands are known for bad reactions.

can you get in anywhere else sooner for a soak off?

To be fair, my hands have been in water a lot more recently as ds has been potty training and we've obviously been running to the toilet and washing our hands together flat out, plus been swimming more than usual etc so I can see it being more my issue with moisture getting in rather than anything the nail tech did/ bad products so I don't want to go to anyone else. I also literally am rammed in work so I've booked for the earliest I could actually go.

2 days is fine. Try amorolfine anti fungal nail paint.
I am a nurse/podiatrist in the local minor injuries unit and we have had loads of these coming in over the last year. We never used to see them. it's usually because they are using the wrong lamp for the product and water seeps in under the product.
