Getting Botox but NOT forehead?

BeesUnicornPot · 12/06/2025 18:26

Has anyone done this? Is it a thing or something I’ve just invented!

If you aren’t into Botox then, obviously it’ll sound daft but I’ve been having it for years.

Since introducing other skin treatments, my skin is pretty good and thinking of a more ‘natural’ look (if that’s possible) when it comes to Botox. So I just don’t want to look totally frozen.

Has anyone looked into this or done it?

I’d still need it in crows feet, jaw area and possible between eyes.

Is that a daft idea?

One of the doctors at work does mine. It's her side hustle. She does my lines between my eyebrows which makes such a difference and I don't look frozen at all. Just fresh.
She doesn't recommend doing too many sites or the lower face or you'll look like you've had a stroke.
She's always right.

givememarmite · 12/06/2025 19:30

I only have it in between my eyebrows and on my crows feet. Never had it on my forehead. It's definitely possible (and probably better) to only do the areas you really need/want.
I love it, gives me a really fresh but not frozen look ☺️

HiddenInCubeOfCheese · 12/06/2025 19:52

It depends how good your doctor is. They might need to inject in the forehead to balance out the work done on eg your crow’s feet

nhsmummmy · 12/06/2025 23:02

If you go to a good practitioner you won’t look frozen. I have my crows feet, between my eyes and an eyebrow lift.
my face moves still but it makes a massive difference

johnworf · 13/06/2025 08:22

I think if you have a good practitioner then you won't look frozen. See if you can get recommendations for a good one. You should have a consultation before you book any treatments where they will go through with you what would be best for you. Ask to see their previous work or look on social media.

I have medical Botox for my migraines. At first my neurologist did them too high above my eyebrows and it made me look like a surprised Jack Nicholson… 🤔 oh how my friends laughed. But we tweaked it and he now injects just above the hairs in the muscle and nobody knows I have it. Also between the eyes which doesn’t affect anything at all. So it really is all about the minute positioning and having a practitioner who understands this. The raised eyebrow look is horrendous!! 😬 I cut a fringe in during this period!

Did your doctor advise why not the lower face? I have some really deep smile lines that I was looking into trying to sort with some Botox in the side muscles of the face to relax these a bit (whilst still being able to smile of course).

Summerisere · 14/06/2025 08:32

I’ve had just 11’s and crows feet done before.

Summerisere · 14/06/2025 08:33

I didn’t realize you could have botox in the jaw. I thought it was botox for the top half of the face and fillers for the bottom half.

3luckystars · 14/06/2025 08:36

I think I’d would like my eyebrows raised a bit! My eyelids are sagging down now. Could Botox lift them up a bit?

Mackerelfillets · 14/06/2025 09:29

I have a full face botox treatment twice a year. About 8 areas including lip flip, jaw, jowls, around nose, crows feet, between brows, bunny lines etc but not forehead. If I have the forehead it causes my brow/eyelid to droop slightly and my lids look hooded. My practioner says for some people it can happen and doesn't touch that area. She's extremely good, I don't look frozen just softer and fresher.

My opinion its toxins their injecting basically rat poison

MadKittenWoman · 14/06/2025 17:34

I just have Botox in the 11s. Looks completely natural.

Ground-breaking, Andrea.

Wethers121 · 14/06/2025 19:43

I do this. I have it in my 11a which does soften my forehead but doesn’t freeze it and I also have it around my eyes. I can’t have it in my forehead as I have naturally hooded eyes and my forehead is pretty large so I feel it would be really obvious with it frozen. Plus I don’t really have any lines there so I’m ok.

Why do you inject stuff in your skin? Do you need to get rid of wrinkles with botox?

If you want to stop wrinkles getting too much, you could wash your face in cold water each morning and let it dry naturally, without a cloth. It works.

Put white petroleum jelly on your lips to stop the skin drying, which causes lips to get thin.

Injections break the skin by definition. The skin is the largest organ the body has and the only defence against damage to the other organs. You should examine your skin and your children's skin regularly and make sure there are no cuts where infection can get in.

It amazes me why so many people risk infection by tattoos. Bad enough people self harm when they are upset, but having tattoos is worse.

I shall get lot of stick from that.

You wouldn't need all that if you washed your face in cold water each morning and let it dry in the air.

Explains why the rats around my way are looking fresh.

What works for my bras doesn’t work for my face, sadly.

What works for your bras?

What does it cost to wash your face in cold water morning and night and let it evaporate? Nothing, and you never know. You might be surprised in a month. There again, it might take longer.

Remember, every time you stretch the skin it gradually gets more wrinkles unless you keep it up for the rest of your life. A bit like stretch marks, though admittedly not so bad - for a few years.

Grammatically so poorly written and factually incorrect that I can’t take your post seriously.

I was referring to cold water and air dry 😊

Everything0Everywhere · 15/06/2025 07:13

Same as other posters, crows feet and 11s for me.
I do have some wrinkles in my forehead but I have had lines there throughout my life so it's not an age thing. I also have a fringe!

(Side note, I'll be thinking about rats, bras and cold water for the rest of the day!)

littleburn · 15/06/2025 07:21

I have horizontal expression lines on my forehead as I raise my brows a lot! I tried Botox in my forehead once and it made my eyes look hooded and I really didn’t like the frozen look. Now I just get the 11 area done instead (although I don’t actually have 11s). It means I can still raise my brows, just not quite as much, and really softens the horizontal lines without eliminating them completely.

KPPlumbing · 15/06/2025 08:50

Can anyone share how it looks to get your crows feet done? I get Botox in my forehead and frown lines and love it. I'm one of those people who smile through my eyes more than through my mouth, and I'm worried about it taking away my expressions. But I would like my crows feet to be softened....
