I feel like it’s hormonal changes causing my dry skin. I’ve tried weleda, coconut, vit e and rosehip oil but my skin, especially on my legs is still very dry. Anyone got any recommendations?

aveeno - has the advantage of taking less time to apply than some stuff as well, although you do need to watch you don't spray it all over the place...

i use amaranthine for face oil - it's too pricey for me for body stuff but generally gets rave reviews

I’ve moistured my body after a shower for about 20 years and feel like I’ve tried all the moisturisers on the market and there’s a few I always go back to. I’d say my number one is Garnier moisturiser. They do different versions for normal skin, dry, and extra dry. The consistency isn’t too thick and it absorbs really well. The scent isn’t overpowering and it absorbs really well. I find with other moisturises - even ones 3 times the price can leave a residue and don’t absorb too well. I use the Garnier one for extra dry skin and is effective from the first use.

I use Avon Skin So Soft dry oil. I resisted it for a while as I’m not an Avon fan but capitulated as I heard that it put off midges, (they love me). Honestly, it’s lovely. It’s not greasy and leaves my skin looking & feeling great. You can buy it in Superdrug or on Amazon if you want to avoid the Avon lady.

I think it starts with what you are using to clean your skin in the shower/bath. Can you try something gentle like sanex zero or aveeno followed by aveeno skin relief. Aveeno is recommended by dermatologists for people with dry skin/eczema. Look for the one with the blue line that has shea butter and says skin relief on it. Try it for a week and see how you go.
