Comfortable long haul outfit

I’m flying long haul this summer and trying to sort out a comfortable outfit that won’t make me look like a complete slob! I was thinking of some jersey joggers like these from next and a super soft sweatshirt (recommendations very welcome!). Any inspirations would be very much appreciated! Thanks.

Thank you. Do you have any recommendations for a really soft hoodie?

AS PP linen or silk trousers and cotton, linen or silk top. Cotton and silk or cashmere cardigan/jacket, pashmina and fitflops. I fly business, long haul, and these work very well. Anything under 4 hours does not really matter. The only thing that would not be so comfortable for short flights might be very tight jeans.
I would never wear anything that looked like pyjamas or "lounge wear" (no actual idea what that is).
Smart, practical, clean and tidy are the order of the day.

Wide leg trousers are not recommended on flights, more so on long haul! They will drag on the floor of piss in the toilets, you’re be trying the hoist the bottoms up to stop it while hovering over the loo. Just dont.

The joggers with a cuff are perfect, dark so they don’t show any spills (i still think back to the one poster ages ago who recommended a crisp white cotton shirt to fly in 🥴😆) elastic waistband for bloating, not too thick material or to thin, sometimes the A/C on flights can be cold or way stuff and hot.

Wear trainers and take thick socks to put on while seated, I take cheap throw away hotel slippers to use when going to the bathroom- never go barefoot 🤢 or in socks.

Top wise, the most comfortable bra and pants you own, and layers - a t-shirt and sweatshirt etc, a pashmina is good as pillow, blanket etc.

Over ear noise cancelling headphones (Bose are good)and a good eye mask.

In addition I always take a lip balm and a hydrating face mist - stop you touching your face but gives a blast of hydration when needed.

I usually wear leggings, oversize jean shirt and trainers. Wooly socks for the actual flight. Don't bother much about hydration, just make sure I drink loads and brush my teeth before we land!

Going against the grain here. I fly long haul a lot. I find a sleeveless cotton loose waisted dress, midi with capri tights, with a cardigan to be the best match for the varying temps on the plane. I can get away without a bra under my dresses, so much more comfortable! And wool socks and birkenstock bostons as the socks can be ditched easily so my feet are warm but can also easily be cooled. It always looks smart and the dresses always get compliments from passengers and staff.
