I find Ecco shoes to be very comfortable, but not that stylish, or you could wear trainers. Clarks also have comfy shoes.

Function over style for this one, I'm afraid. If you are wearing beautiful 3 inch heels but limping along crippled by blisters, you'll ruin the effect.
A wedge heel is a good compromise. You can get a bit of height but still be very comfortable.
Have a look at OUT P500038000, EDNA P140914000, VIOLA P140630003 and YUNA P500016018 on the fly london site
or ecco

nowt wrong with converse for walking in

try arch supports (Boots or Scholl shop)

ARe you wanting flat shoes (which would be sensible) or something mega comfy with a heel?

nancy75 · 21/05/2008 10:21

thanks for suggestions, its comfort rather than what i look like thats worrying me! no fear of me walking anywhere in heals, i dont even own a pair.
might have a look at arch supports, i find converse are too flat for walking alot so that might be a good solution
