BBL laser - anyone?

Hi!
I am getting married in four months and have been trying to get rid of the broken capillaries that plague my cheeks and nose. I am well aware no topical creams have ever worked for veins.

I use spf50 and a have a comprehensive dermatological skincare range from Dr Sam Bunting which includes azealic acid, vitamin c, retinoids etc. I don't smoke or drink much and I don't do very spicy food. Still, the blighters persist. I have very celtic skin and I think it's at least in part genetic and maybe some historic damage from my 20s when I didn't use spf. I've been told it isn't actually rosacea by a vascular doctor and a GP, so no point venturing down the Dermatica route, Soolantra etc.

I've tried IPL at a Harley St place. Not only was it AGONY but it didn't do much at all. So I've moved on the Newmans clinic, also very expensive, and have been booked in for two rounds of thermavein. My first round was two months ago - no improvement whatsoever.

Has anyone tried BBL lasering? Looks like it's great for things like pigmentation (which I have a bit of too) and rosacea. Is it painful? Do you need multiple sessions? How's the downtime?

Thanks in advance x

I've had it.... can't say it was any different to other rosacea treatments. Are you near tunbridge wells?
Dr Anne farrel has a clinic and she's very very good with rosacea.
Tbh id only treat it under a very qualified dermatologist.
The best thing for me has been finacea cream.
But I've done a few things like BBL, Lumecca, IPL, Laser Genesis and also Fotona laser 4D

@Angelofmycoins Thanks a lot for this! Looks like finacea cream is available via Boots so I'll get some. I wonder why capillaries are so tough to treat? I'm in London where advanced technologies are really pricey which is why I'm not sure about BBL - it's £650 at the clinic I like.

For pigmentation I also got angry omnilux face mask thingy whixh has been good.
Use thst on my hands too and they definitely look less red and horrible than they did

Not angry!

It sounds like you're using too many products. All your skin needs is a gentle cleanser and a moisturiser. Have a look at how-to repair my skin barrier.

I’ve had it twice and then on the third time had moxi laser. The BBL goes deeper but the Moxi is better for more surface level. My skin looked fab after the course of 3. Less red, sunspots gone and just generally less fine lines and glowy.

@Angelofmycoins I've got a Currentbody LED mask. Haven't seen any improvement yet, but I'm only on month four. @slamdunk66 Interesting. Will look at Moxi too - thank you!
