Gentle face wash for 11 year old

I'm looking for a gentle face wash or cleanser for my 11 year old dd. Puberty has started, she has quite a lot of spots on her forehead and I've noticed some on her back. She has a fringe which probably doesn't help.

Any recommendations for a gentle face wash/cleanser and maybe something she can use on her back please?

Dd uses a green CeraVe one which seems good - if she looks like she’s getting a spot, it seems to head it off. She has the hydrating one but there’s also a foaming gel one for oilier skin. Have you seen the new spot / pimple patches the teen girls wear now? They dry up and heal the spots and come in all sorts of fun shapes and colours. I’ve seen older girls at DD’s school wearing them and the skin-coloured ones too.

Dermalogica does a teen range thats excellent if yoi get a lot of spots. Dd2 was suffering badly but once she went on this range she got it undercontrol and has barely any scarring. We really thoight she woild get a lot as she had terrible breakoits.

They have a small sort of trial set to try oit and see if it works for you.

Simple

Thank you. I'm heading to Boots today so I'll see what they have and look online for the Dermalogica.
Yes I have seen the pimple patches @nyancatdays , unfortunately Dd has a phobia of stickers so I think they would be a no from her 🤦‍♀️

Another vote for ceraVe. They do a full range of facial washes and moisturiser. Good price point as well
Byoma is a worth a look as it’s a good range for the more youth market

Simple smoothing gel cleanser is really good. Slight lather, pump bottle, very easy to use. No weird perfume to irritate.

Yep Cerave face wash - there are three to choose from depending on skin type

A gentle moisturiser may be a good idea too. Something with niacinamide if you can find it

If she wants a cream to put on the spots then Acnecide is a decent start point. It bleaches clothes/bedding though.

PS for her back - make sure she washes her back with soap or facewash after conditioning her hair

I really like boots tea tree and witch hazel foaming face wash. It's easy to use, no pads or cloths required, and won't matter if she doesn't quite wash it off

My son uses the boots cucumber range, it's cheap as chips and I have noticed his skin has cleared up since using it.

Is she keeping her fringe and hair off her face and back at night? A bonnet or headband may help.
