Tired face

I just look so haggard and tired. I have developed jowls, hollow undereyes and my jaw has miraculously expanded width wise for no particular reason.
What can I do, I see these facial treatments in local aesthetics places, but what actually works? Please anyone with any suggestions help!!

Get a little tweakment if it bothers you enough! I would

Without seeing you we can't say. Book a consultation with one of them. A decent one should ask you what it is you don't like and what you would like to improve.

What helps a lot with that tired look is adding a little radiance or glow to your face…… microneedling is good for this, also moisturise, drink water and avoid heavy powders, eyeliner and foundation…. There are lots of tinted serums, illuminated that can make a big difference. If you’d like an idea of where to start for light glowy makeup techniques, look for Lisa Eldridge on YouTube, she’s really good

@Sadiemum3 , this made me laugh in sympathy, "miraculously expanded width wise for no particular reason" 😂

Stuckinarut100 · 17/05/2025 08:07

I have the same with under eye hollowness I can’t afford a tweakment so keen to know if there’s anything else I could do.

I find I'm more conscious and concerned about my aging face when I'm unhappy with myself and/or my relationships. When I am feeling happy and fulfilled I don't dwell on my lined face and saggy bits as much, and in any case, a smiling face usually automatically lifts and brightens your appearance. Just wondering if there's any of that for you - are you feeling unhappy, frustrated or unfulfilled at the moment?

I’m here for the under eye hollows advice. I’ve been using a L’Oréal “filler” cream but not having much effect.

Delatron · 17/05/2025 22:27

I just had polynucleotides which have helped the under eye area. Not a filler but a skin booster.

Sunekos is also supposed to be good.

I think there's definitely some truth to this, although I think it's the reality of time passing very quickly and the aging process in general.

Thanks, I'll have a look into these..a skin boost sounds exactly like what i need for my undereyes.

I’m 58, I go to an aesthetics salon for Botox, lip filler, and other fillers. I’m happy with it. Talk to them about what you’d like to achieve.

Be careful though, some are RIDICULOUSLY expensive, and some cheap but NOT experienced.

Look up Wigan Aesthetics (Dr. David Taylor) he’s really lovely, a Dr. (GP), but moved to aesthetics years ago. He practices in Wigan and somewhere else (can’t remember) look him up though. xx 😊👍🏽

Oh and the ordinary 5% caffeine serum is for the under eye area. Not too expensive either

Do you have a link for this please?

Mummblebee · 19/05/2025 10:31

https://ebay.us/m/gSqXxe

It's cheapest on Ebay, but you can also buy it at boots. Hope the link works
