It'd help to get a steer on what the person usually wears.

I would recommend John Garland-taylor

Isn't pandora a bit naff for adults? I thought it was mostly for tweens?

I'm unsure as I only saw them in a work environment that doesn't allow jewellery.

But I can't think what else to get!

I thought if I included a gift receiept they could exchange.

Thanks. A Pandora bracelet's a fairly safe bet for a youngish woman - but, if it's not her thing, she'd only be able to exchange it for another Pandora product! Similar with Monica Vinader: her designs are nice and there's good variety but, for instance, I don't wear silver or gold-plated so it wouldn't be a great choice for me. Is there a reason you thought of jewellery?

If it's a straightforward thank-you token, an Amazon or John Lewis voucher would probably do the trick. Jewellery's a medium intimate present.

I think you have to know someone really well to buy them jewellery. I also think unless you know what they like a bracelet is more difficult to get right than earrings or a necklace.

Of the suggestions you've been given so far I personally wouldn't want Pandora or Monica Vinader. John Garland- Taylor is more interesting.

For £150 you'll get silver or gold plate. I like silver- I have silver bracelets, 2 of which I wear all the time. I don't like gold plate. Tbh, you might struggle to get nice in silver anything under £150. John Garland- Taylor has a few very basic items under that price but most are over.

I like this jeweller but her silver bracelets are over £200.

Okay - so you don’t wear jewellery and you don’t know the tastes of your intended recipient?

Honestly, I think that’s a risky way to spend £150!

Were you a client / patient? Or a colleague? Are you sure people doing that job are allowed to accept gifts above a certain monetary amount?

Maybe they also don’t wear jewellery? Maybe they only wear a particular brand, or things made by their children? And while £150 is a generous gift it’s not a sum that will buy the sort of jewellery some adults prefer.

Unless you definitely know this is something they’d like I’d think again.
