converse and chelsea flower show

Hello to all..have been invite to the chelsea flower show on wednesday and am already stressing about my footwear. Basically I want to wear some wide leg blueish trouser from monsoon, with a greenish striped top (also from monsoon). Problem is the shoes I brought to wear with it rubbed like hell on saturday, so obviously not keen to wear them to walk around the show.

Would it be terrible if I wore my low rise cream converse???

no - very sensible.. there is a lot of walking/crowd milling and last time I went there they didn't employ bouncers or a dress code

oohhh thanks..I would actually live in them if I could, but wasn't sure if there was a dress code. Plus my friend with whom I am going with said we had to wear skirts ..she doesn't really do trousers!
