Mole Removal - how to choose

Exactly that. How do I choose a practitioner?
I'm going to have to travel to the nearest large town/city as all the places close by seem to be botox etc, with just basic qualifications - so basically beauticians.

I've narrowed down the choice to about 4. They are all within a 30/40 mile radius and they all appear much of a muchness:
They are all consultant/plastic surgeons who do the removal.
They send the moles away for testing.
All have 4.8 stars or above (and each have over 300 reviews)
Their websites seem great and have videos of the procedures.

The prices are within about £20 of each other
If on the rare chance the mole comes back they all will do redoes free of charge.

As far as I can see the only differential factors are carparking and snacks!. Is there anything else I should do/be looking for or do I just pick the one that has on site parking and is near a nice cafe/pub for lunch?

No help but actually interested in this and you’ve got much further than me! Can you get prices without having had consultations? How have you got to the shortlist?

I would say check their NHS work details to make sure they’re legit. If the mole is on your face or somewhere prominent go with the plastic surgeon not a general surgeon. Will the mole be cut out or shaved?

If there’s a risk of skin cancer choose one who specialises in that.

I had a mole shaved from my face by a general gp, the result was good. If it was going to be cut out I’d have chosen a plastic surgeon.

Prices have all been on websites and in the reviews some say that they were charged as per prices list.

That's a good plan. I've not done that.

I think my mole might be a 50:50 shave or laser.

I did have a mole shaved off about 25 years ago by my nail technician... Thankfully it was okay, but there was no cancer screening, nor actual qualifications! I want to do better this time!

A bit late for this post probably. About 18 months ago I had a couple of small facial moles removed by a skin clinic using Advanced Electrolysis they both healed very well. It was the best £200 I ever spent. I wasn’t sure to start with but the clinic was recommended by my GP as he had many patients used the clinic and very happy with the results.
