Recommendations for facial sunscreen in powder form

I have combination skin that is prone to acne. I use La Roche Posay factor 50 for oily skin which I do like but even that gives me some acne especially around my mouth and chin.

I have heard you can now get powder sunscreen which would be great for top ups during the day. Is this any good? And can any wise beauty experts advise on this or recommend one before I shell out for something?!

I don’t think there’s any substitute for topping up with a proper cream or lotion.

I’ve seen tests done on powders/sprays/sticks and the result is always that you would need a huge amount to achieve the advertised SPF. I also don’t like the idea of breathing in a spray or powder.

I use Australia gold which is a bronzer with spf 50 and you can use also on arms and legs etc, it’s lovey, I got mine online it’s not expensive.

Good to know. So probably, as I suspected...not worth the money. Thank you, that's really helpful.

I use this for topping up. I really rate it. You do need to really buff it in as it can be a little pale. https://ebay.us/m/ypsVO8

Well I am really pale so maybe that would not be so big a problem for me! Thanks for the recommendation. 😊
