Not sure. I have got some white skinny jeans though, does that count?

notnowbernard · 19/05/2008 15:29

I don't think it's very flattering, tbh

And can look a bit cheap... can never find footwear that looks good with it

god no, don't you know that light colours make your (read my) thighs look bigger!!

JackieNo · 19/05/2008 15:33

No no no. Definitely not. Am too fat. ANd probably not even if I wasn't.

TheFallenMadonna · 19/05/2008 15:33

Hell no!

TheMelodyMaker · 19/05/2008 15:35

I was going to say no but those Topshop ones look okay

TheMelodyMaker · 19/05/2008 15:36

Mind you I'm off denim until my tummy is flatter

My friend had some nice grey cropped jeans on last week, not quite that light but fresher looking than blue

TheMelodyMaker · 19/05/2008 15:43

I had some snow wash jeans I dyed black - it was horrendous. I was about 14 and I cut - with my mums orange scissors - a hole in the knee - and wore them proudly.

No. It brings back the painful memories of going to a Whitesnake concert with shitty bf, I bleached some jeans in the bath and then sewed myself into them. They was tight!!

They rotted from the bleach and split.

Teuch · 19/05/2008 15:47

Typical... It comes back as soon as I start expanding again

Now I can't get into my lovely pale blue bootleg jeans...

HaventSleptForAYear · 19/05/2008 15:47

Sorry but those topshop ones look like they would make ANYONE look top heavy/big thighed (is that a word?)

Am still to be convinced. Mind you, haven't dared go for skinny jeans yet and I fear I have missed that opportunity (they were in while I was pregnant, now I've lost the weight and could wear them, I think they are going out of fashion.)

SheikYerbouti · 19/05/2008 15:49

I had snow wash with a multi-coloured waistband

They were also tapered leg and double seamed.

How many fashion errors can you get in one garment? I used to think I was a bolleaux in them.

Pale denim: Don't Do It

Agree really dark denim (blue is OK - black is deffo not) looks harsh and white jeans are great if you have skinny legs and don't menstruate.

Other than that, I shall be sticking to my dark blue bootcut [dull]
