Curly frizzy childs hair help!

I was going to post this on parenting but seen this topic and thought to try here!

My 4 year old has the cutest ringlets. Love it after washing it with the children's coconut shampoo and conditioner and then putting on the curling custard to help with the frizz.
But the next day, it's a messy frizz. I normally put it up in a pony tail if it's that bad but I would love to see suggestions on how to handle it. She loves plaits but I'm no good at French braids as I can't catch all her hair (it's short, just touching her shoulders).
She's going to school this year and I don't want her to be in a pony tail every day for school or just bunchies. Washing hair in the morning wouldn't be great for time management (plus melt downs) and not great for curly hair health! Can anyone recommend a product to use for next day to control the frizz, techniques or simple but fun ways to do up dos?

Thank you for the reading ❤️

Styles:
-Donut bun (use a hair donut- you can get different sizes, and then a slickback brush)
-single plait
-space buns
-if popping in a ponytail, put her hair up and then spray the curls with a spray bottle of water, then Cantu For Natural Hair Comeback Curl Next Day Curl Revitalizer and scrunch up (water isn't essential if she hates the feel like my DD did- you can spray right onto it).

Get her a silk pillowcase (NTBAY Silk Satin Pillowcases - Satin Pillowcase for Hair and Skin, Pillow Cases 2 Pack with Envelope Closure, 50x75 cm, Light Pink : Amazon.co.uk: Home & Kitchen) - they stop breakage and frizz overnight.

Keep her hair tied back even if the school say she doesn't have to- you'll help her to avoid lice. Also, add some tea tree oil into her shampoo and conditioner, it's a lice deterrent.

Could you try a silk or satin bonnet for sleeping? Cotton pillowcases are awful for curls and cause frizz.

Boucleme gel. Put on when hair is very wet, and scrunch out when dry. Next day, run wet hands over the hair, small squirt of gel with a bit more water and run that over. Scrunch again when it's dry. Works wonders!

@ChocHotolate Ohh never thought of a silk pillow for her! I'll have a go of that!

@xmasdealhunter that's amazing! I'll go have a look for the products online, thank you!

You need to damp it down with a spray bottle every morning, brush with a curly comb or wide tooth comb and scrunch

You can't do anything with dry curly hair

@Exactfare ah yeah, that is true! I've popped a hair mist in the basket to try with other things. Thank you!

Don't let her go to school with her hair down or you are at a much higher risk of nits.

my daughter has a mass of ringlets. Never ever brush it dry. I spritz it with water every morning to tame it and reactivate the curls. I also do this when plaiting as the hair plaits easier, and stays. Spraying also detangles it

This. I have curly hair and my youngest has a mass of curls and each morning it’s frizz central!! This is what I do on a morning.

She definitely should sleep in a bonnet.
