Please recommend your favourite hair dryer that isn't a Dyson, looking for a new one that leaves hair with volume rather than flat looking

I’m limited mobility with limited shoulder range. I’ve had a parlux for decades and I’m finding it more difficult as I’ve got worse but not impossible. I also the Revlon one step brush for smoothing hair at the end. The two together are brilliant.

I see you've already committed OP but in case anyone is interested in a less pricier option I've found the Babyliss 3Q really good. Dries the hair quickly, not overly heavy and I've had mine years (daily use) and it's going strong. Has a long length cable too, which I like

Far better than the Dyson which i also have (a xmas present) and that's just sitting in a box somewhere because I didn't like it at all.

Thanks @bramblefoot , I will keep that one in mind in case I don't like the Parlux. I already have a Dyson too and hate it, leaves my hair feeling straw like and it looks greasy very quickly. Never had any problems before with the regular hairdryers.

Those are exactly my issues with the Dyson, I also found it seemed to tangle my hair whatever I did, very disappointing. Especially when you've coveted it for ages and asked for it for christmas precisely because of the good reviews😆🙄

Would love to know how you find the Parlux as I've always imagined going for one if I replace the Babyliss for whatever reason.

I have had a parlux for many years and love it....but since breaking my shoulder a few months ago find it too heavy. Just ordered the Aylon 😀

That's the one I went with too, can't wait to try it out 😊

I love my new Parlux. Had a Dyson before.

Update: I ordered the Alyon from directly from Parlux but wasn't sure if it was strong enough for my very wavy frizzy hair and exchanged for the model up which is the Digitalyon. Really loving it so far, it makes my unruly hair so smooth like I've been to the salon. Thank you again to everyone for the suggestions, much appreciated 😊

I bought a Parlux after recommendations on here. It really is a fantastic brand. It perplexes me how I've never heard of it. I've still never heard of it anywhere other than on MN. I have no idea how something that is so good seems to be so secret.

Yeah I never heard of them before Mumsnet either but so glad that I did come across them. I'm surprised they aren't available more in store and are quite comparable in price to some other high priced hairdryers like the GHDs.
