Revlon one step style booster or something else for jaw length hair? (edited my MNHQ at request of the OP)

I am terrible at blow drying my hair. It’s naturally quite wavy and would be curly if long, but when I attempt to blow dry it myself it’s just a coarse fizzy mess. Straighteners don’t seem to help.

I tend to comb some styling creme through it and leave it to dry, and while it’s fairly smooth and shiny it’s just a bit flat. I’ve been thinking of some kind of hot brush or styler to see if I can get a bit more volume and the swishy look my hairdresser manages. I am just really dreadful trying to manage a brush and hairdryer.

i’ve seen the revlon one step boost mentioned on here which should be suitable for shorter hair (jaw length bob). Any thoughts on this or suggestions for alternatives? I definitely don’t want anything that rotates, I think I might have the original babyliss big hair thing languishing in a cupboard somewhere, I could never get the hang of it (I had much longer hair then). I don’t want to spend a small fortune in case it’s a waste of money - the revlon one doesn’t break the bank.

No advice but I misread the title and thought you were planning to use it on your chin hair - doh!

Hahaha! I can see how it would read that way. I mean, my chin hairs get a bit wild sometimes, but I’ve not decided to start styling them!

There are two sizes so get the smaller one, dry your hair first with a hairdryer and finish off with the One Step . I love mine .

Thanks @LoafofSellotape it was the smaller one I was looking at. Do you find it easy to use, or is there a bit of a knack to it?

Thanks for editing @mumsnet so it no longer reads like I’m looking for styling tips for my chin hairs…
