one of those things that is not a hat but has daft coloured feathery bits sticking out from the side of your head.

Doncha think a nice hat though? Fascinators say 'ageing but trying to be with it' (and failing) or fat lass from up North trying to be posh (and failing).

Beatrice looked a complete ass in what she had on her head. Utterly distasteful IMO. I thought guests should not try to grab the attention away from the bride?

I think fascinators are fab. DD and I tried them all on in M+S last week, great fun! I just need a wedding to go to now... Besides I have a mahusive head and have never been able to get hats that fit.
