Tummy Control Knickers

LightOfAThousandStars · 01/05/2025 12:27

I've started wearing my summer dresses and need tummy control knickers to help me feel more confident, I have a pair of the high rise Spanx shorts but they aren't comfortable to wear everyday. Please share your best tummy control knickers, thank you 😊

Sloggi control maxi briefs are very good day to day

M and S do some nice ones with a bit of lace to make them slightly less Bridget like!

Thank you, going to have a look in store because their website still isn't taking orders at the moment

I've got these from next. I was also going to get some sloggi to try but these are cheaper and they work well, not uncomfortable at all.

Take a look at control slips. M&S did some lovely ones which allowed you to wear your own bra (or go for no bra depending on the dress). They are not showing on their website at the moment, but with current circumstances that does not mean a lot. John Lewis and Next do similar, but I’ve never tried those.

The M&S ones are comfy, supportive and give you a better line as well as being cooler than control knickers. You feel less like you are part of a Bridget Jones tribute act and make life far easier when you want a wee.

Thank you, that sounds like a great idea, I'll definitely have a look in store

Thanks they are at the same price on Amazon too so I've ordered them to try along with the Next ones you suggested. It's a good idea to try a few different ones and repurchase more in whichever one is the best fit

I like these from Amazon

amzn.eu/d/9wEm7pj

And Wirarpa I like too; they usually get recommended on here.

Sloggi are good but more expensive

LightOfAThousandStars · 05/05/2025 20:54

@Eldermillennialmum Thanks again for recommending the Next ones, I had them delivered and they fit so well! They are really comfortable too because they don't have the elasticated part that can dig in at the legs.

@LydiaBucket I picked up a pair in store from M&S which are really comfortable too, thanks again for the suggestion.
