Short to boot. Any suggestions as to what to wear?

I'm back to fat (an all too familiar place) this summer. I'm going to Italy next week and I'm dreading the sweating, waddling and covering my wobbly bits that it will involve.
A couple of years ago I went to Greece and was considerably slimmer than I am now. Packing was a complete breeze. Shorts, t shirts, swimstuff and I was done.

A couple of sun dresses in a style that works for you, a maxi and knee length. I'm a fat hourglass so tried to get something slightly fitted at the waist, empire lines look awful on me. I love a floaty maxi dress that skims the chunky bits. At my biggest I needed some chub shorts, I used cut off old leggings which worked great.

2 pairs of shorts, jeans and paper bag and some floaty tops with some light cardis/ bolero if you're worried about arms.

A big hat, chunky sunglasses, lipstick, a cocktail and a smile.

There was a brilliant thread on here last summer about dressing with confidence and what made people happy rather than worrying about their size. It was really supportive.

Short and fat here. Summer dressing for me is usually:

Cotton/linen voluminous maxi dress
Tunic over capri length leggings
T-shirt with linen wide leg trousers
Top with white trousers
Occasionally denim not-short shorts.

Avoid co-ords like the plague. Imo, very rarely do they look good on anyone, but on me they are only ever going to look like crumpled pyjamas.

What about a Seasalt linen dress? They're usually quality fabric and generously sized. Chub rubs underneath and you will be cool and only need to add sunglasses and sandals to be fully dressed.
