50 year old clubbing outfit

For a friends 50th we’re going to a popular European destination which will involve nightclubbing. Leaving aside the fact that I can’t stay awake past 11pm, what the heck do I wear? I’ve not been in a club for about 20 years and I generally wear very casual clothes and trainers. I absolutely cannot wear heels. I’m 5’1” and at the top end of a size 10. Please send style ideas along with thoughts and prayers for my menopausal self.

Berlin basement? Ibiza beach? Where are you going? Is there a dress code?

Ibiza! No dress code

I'd be going for a hippy/boho look (cos that's about as glam/dressed up as I could get on a hot holiday). Something like these with a vest top and lots of jewellery.

Flat trainers or sandals with a decent sole to shock absorb all the bouncing up and down. I'd get a bra top from Uniqlo as it'll be one less layer and wear with floaty trousers or a skirt. Jewellery and an attitude to dance like no-one is watching and you'll be fine.

Ibiza is more of a floaty, hippy dress vibe, maybe in white. Look at pictures from Pacha, Ushuaia clubs to get an idea.

I hope no one is watching 🤣🤣🤣

Thanks all, Zara dress is ok but not something I’d feel very confident in but the top half is nice but it’s too short for my liking. Trousers are very snazzy.

Went just before Covid. I wore trainers, chino shorts and a sequin top to go clubbing. The other nights were just typical girls’ holiday outfits with dresses/skirts and tops. My experience was that Ibiza is actually pretty relaxed and you wear what makes you you feel comfortable/good!

no one cares in Ibiza. Where whatever makes you feel fab and comfort is key!
