Help with funeral outfit but colours

I would like to ask for your advice. I'm going to a funeral but the dress code is to not wear black/sombre colours.

I am a "Spring" colouring, short and size 16 ish. Big boobs and tummy but I do have a bit of a waist. I think I suit clothes that do make something of the waist but I'm quite high waisted. Wrap tops usually work well.

Any thoughts or ideas?

@EducatingArti Sorry for your loss and sorry I posted a maxi dress! Duh.. I only just read your update about being petite.

Roman are my go to for outfits for formal occasions. Their sizing is accurate, they have lots of petite clothes, and often with a little bit of stretch. I'd go for a dress and jacket.

I'm thinking maybe navy dress with a lighter coloured pattern, and a jacket in that colour.

M&S aren't doing online orders at the moment so I wouldn't bother there unless you want to go to a store.

Next and Tu (Sainsburys) stock lots of other brands as well so worth a browse. You sound like Monsoon might suit you as well? Also try Phase Eight.

I wore a dress like this to my MiLs non black wedding but I got it in the sale.

Advice I would give you is look in the local charity shops to see if they have anything suitable. I love the dress I bought but I can't bring myself to wear it. I've kept it, though, in case I stop feeling that way .

I ordered a lovely dress from Roman for my Mum for her own funeral.😁
