Greying without grace. Help!

I’ve got thick, long, wavy/frizzy chestnut hair which I’ve been having root tints / stretched roots on for years to cover up the grey, but I’m fairly low maintenance and can no longer get away with my previous three-four month gaps between colours.

My skin is pale, eyes light green, and my skin is decidedly less fresh than it used to be now I have a toddler and am pushing forty.

Is it time to go lighter? Would highlights increase the time between dyes and blend in the greys better? How frequently do I need to be having dyes now, every month?

I’d like to look smarter and less crone-like, as I work with a lot of young and stylish people who are definitely getting more than four hours’ sleep every night.

I go through this every now and then with my hairdresser. She is the font of good advice about how and when I should 'go grey' and what will work for my skin tone. So it's quite individual. Can you talk to yours?

Depends on how much grey you have? Would the new L'Oréal Silver appeal to you? There are lots of before and after videos online. It does make your hair look healthy.

Plantur 39 Brown shampoo and conditioner will gently colour your greys and give the appearance of highlights. I thoroughly recommend.
