There is a pic of me as I am now on my profile, i think.

I do want it quite short at the back yeah, sort of cut right into my neck if that makes sense. Then I'd the front about chin length, maybe slightly shorter.

I think i will take the kym pic, but ask them to do the front as you describe bonkerz.

thats how mine is its cut very short at the nape of the neck and layered upso it looks really nice from the back. At the front we just put in a middle parting and cut it graded down so its chin length at front. Looks really nose and i just get it trimmed up every 6 weeks to enhance the layers again! I always used to have longer hair but this style is SO easy and my hair feels better for it. I have also gone black so its very shiny too! (am currently sat with more dye on hair!!)

I am tempted to colour mine too, not black but a very dark brown.

Yours sounds like exactly what I want bonkers. I want quite alot of layers in it, to stop it looking so flat and boring.

I asked for it like that last time, but they didn't cut it short enough at the back.

I went to 3 different hairdressers before someone actually cut it how id imagined it. first one refused to cut my hair from armpit lenthg to short. Second one cut it very nicely into a shoulder length bob but wouldnt go shorter than that and the 3rd lady was a friend who is a mibile hairdresser and she immeidately cut it very short at back and long at front. She was also the one to recommend going very darkto help bulk out the cut which i did and love it! Have just actually died it a bitter chocolate colour as the black was growing out. It is still dark but looks good. Am due to have it done red/black in June!

The last twice I have had it cut, the hairdresser has said that she couldn't cut it any shorter at the back because of how my hair grows, but I distinctly remember having cut short and into my neck several times before and it was fine.

I will probably get my mum to dye it, as I can't afford the cut and colour, unless I treat myself for my birthday.

can recommend swarzcopf live color xxl range for dying. Thats what i have been using and its great!!! I did the cosmic blue (very dark black with hint of blue) and have just used bitter sweet chocolate!

That Cosmic blue looks like a lovely colour but i don't think I am brave enough lol.

i thought that and actually went for a plain black to start with BUT i did the cosmic blue and TBH it looks more shiny than blue and only in direct sunlight does it shimmer give off a blue hue! Im going red black in june which is also really deep colour.
