Endolift in real time, honestly.

I had lower face Endolift on the 16th of January and I thought I would share my honest journey with people here. I am 72 years old but would like to think I look younger. So I do not believe anyone is too old for this procedure.

I have posted two photos, one before Endolift and one where I am today, three months down the line.

Some bits of advice
Do your research on the clinician and get a full understanding of the procedure.
Brutal but absolutely necessary is the question is my face suitable for this procedure?

If you have a lot of loose skin around the jaw and neck, then quite possibly only a facelift would give you results. Ask your clinician to be honest with you regarding what to expect.
Anyway, this is me
-Immediate improvement after the treatment but face swelled up shortly afterwards. Any photos post treatment are invalid because this is not how you will end up.
-week one week two swelling and bloating of the face much more than I had expected.
-Week two and three swelling subsided but no improvements in skin laxity
-Six weeks or so slight improvement in the jawline and the neck.
-Eight weeks or so moderate improvement in the jawline and quite a lot of tingling sensation around the jaw and in the neck which made me think that something was happening.
Three months or so, which is where I am now I think I have an improvement in the skin quality and a further lift of the jawline, but there is a long way to go before I would say wow this is amazing. I am happy to answer any questions and hope you found this post informative.

The photo of me smiling is the before image. The other close-up is the after image.

I'm going to be honest here. I prefer the first photo as you are smiling I guess and that is what you notice about someone. We are all so critical of ourselves. The polo neck photo emphasises your jawline more and doesn't show to me a great improvement. On the other hand the additional photos show what was done.

Regarding your neck / the bottom after photo was cropped so we can't see if there was any effect on that area. Was there an improvement?

Those are good results

How much?

Local or general anaesthetic?

£19000 for lower and mid face. Two hour treatment with just local anaesthetic. It’s more strange feeling than any pain.

themightysossidge · 20/04/2025 17:44

Think you have an extra zero in there ? You said 1900 earlier .

Branster · 20/04/2025 18:53

@CinnamonJellyBeans I would also be a but skeptical of allowing a dentist to perform such a procedure on my face. Saying that, OP's experience is very positive.
Personally I'm too scared to have anything done that involves needles or incisions but like to keep myself informed on these things just as a hobby if you like. And I have seen some really nice results in real life from, for example, Botox. So I know that, done properly, the results can be really good.
For Endolift, as it is a relatively new procedure in the UK, compared to other 'easy' treatments, I would definitely use an actual aesthetics doctor. Where the cost would probably be around £4000.

blueshoes · 20/04/2025 19:20

I think I have a way to go before the jaw looks smooth from the front as well.

Why does it take so long for the results to show from the front?

If the laser has dissolved and zapped away the fat, I would not thought the results would be immediate once the swelling goes down.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Your results look so good and it seems like a less drastic procedure than a facelift. I like how your face still has the character than comes from being a little older, but no sagging. I would definitely consider some kind of surgery to lift my face and this seems like something i could go for.

Allseeingallknowing · 20/04/2025 20:41

It looks good but I would be wary of dissolving fat, as I’d be worried about loose skin making the jowls look worse.

Allseeingallknowing · 20/04/2025 20:59

It sounds better than some other non surgical face lifts!

Hallywally · 21/04/2025 20:17

The first pictures are hard to compare due to differences in lighting, expression & the polo neck. The second pics are better but I can’t see a huge difference. Regardless, you look amazing for 72!

isitme111 · 21/04/2025 22:13

Looking at the second set of pic's that's a good lift on the jowls and your neck skin seems smoother. I'd never heard of this procedure before.

Foreveryoung52 · 22/04/2025 01:23

Branster · 20/04/2025 13:33

That really is very cheap OP!
I think the results from the second photographs are very impressive.
For what it's worth, may I say that you look absolutely lovely even without this procedure.

For the OP who asked about how it works. Yes, it is a laser but not a surface treatment. A wire goes under the skin at a very small incision point at the end of the jaw towards the ear end, and it travels under the skin. The tip of the wire is what heats up the tissue under the skin. You would need anaesthetic, similar to going to a dentist for an invasive procedure. And, as OP, explained, there is some discomfort post procedure and it takes a while for any inflammation to subside. However, as treatments go, this on is quite incredible because there is no downtime, reasonably pain free, results are fairly predictable and last a few years.
I am not entirely sure but it might be suitable for neck treatment as well. It's definitely primarily used to remodel the jawline in cases of weight fluctuations or natural ageing.

That’s really a very clear explanation. I did have some treatment on my neck and have seen some improvement, but at my age, I don’t expect it to be perfect. However, all my life I have done facial exercises and have massaged my neck daily. My problem is that I am thin and have not really got fatty tissue. I did have a slight jowls which bothered me. You can’t really see it, but there is a little bit of a residual on the right side which I hope will disappear with time. You seem to be well informed about this treatment. I am sorry I am new to mum‘s net and have probably placed the post in the wrong category.

This procedure is all over Instagram if you just search for it? There are short video clips which show it in action the clinician marked my face before embarking on the treatment which lasted about an hour and a half.

When I said it was done at a private dental surgery practice, I did not mean that a dentist performed it. A Doctor Who was completely cognisant of facial structure and the nervous system performed procedure. You will find that many dentists aesthetic treatment now certainly in my city it has become a growing trend.

Thank you for your comments. I am not looking to be 25 again, although that would be very nice. I think that fall faceless look a little falls and so I prefer small adjustments and enhancement. Endo lift is the most drastic thing I’ve had. I have had a little ball talk on my phone Lines and that is all. Endeley just removes saggy tissue and tight the skin. I don’t believe that at any age we have to put up with things we do not like about our facial features that I am not obsessive about this aging cannot be completely reversed.

I’d be even more nervous if Dr Who was doing it!

TheFTrain · 22/04/2025 16:06

I'm interested in this procedure so thanks for sharing your before and after photos. There is a noticeable and very nice difference between your pics. I'd be very pleased if I had these results.

CinnamonJellyBeans · 20/04/2025 13:34

..I see you have answered questions, thanks. Not a bad price, but I'm not so sure I'd like a dentist loose on my face.

This is a strange attitude as you probably won’t find many medical professionals with better in-depth knowledge of facial anatomy than a dentist.

Knowing how it works and physically working on it are two different things.

After a visual health check of the tissues of my mouth, my dentist spends her time on my teeth and gums. The only time she touches my face is to move it out of the way.

I'd go to an appropriately experienced medical professional who does facial surgery if I wanted facial surgery.

Allseeingallknowing · 28/05/2025 14:13

Foreveryoung52 · 19/04/2025 22:44

Well I wasn’t happy with it. I just wasn’t. I’ve done facial exercises all my life but they just weren’t enough. I decided on endolift because it seemed effective. It works by dissolving fat pockets.

Us oldies don’t want the fat being dissolved, leaving loose skin. At my age, I need some fat! I think £1900 is too much if the result isn’t long lasting- only time will tell.

What did your practitioner say?

Lchadders · 08/12/2025 18:55

They haven’t really been that great with me took three days to get the after-care sent over properly and first of all she said oh that’s just swelling. Second day she said don’t just cold Press it hot press it now start pressing it to get the blood flowing and then on the third day, she said I think you need to go to the GP because it looks infected. This was all done through pictures not in person. I’ve just received some pictures six days after of some other complications on their clients and they have said bear with it it will rectify itself in time. I’m flying to Bali on Christmas Day 2 1/2 weeks time. I’m panicking a little bit because my face is so sore and so tender.

HUNGRY4MORE · 05/02/2026 11:50

@Lchadders would you mind updating what happened with your infecting and swelling? Are you happy with the final results?

dollyblue01 · 05/02/2026 11:59

Wow I think you look amazing and yes I love the colour of lipstick too, can see the improvement to your jaw definitely.
