Sunglasses that won’t leave marks

Whenever I wear sunglasses, I always end up with marks on the side of my nose that take hours to go away. Doesn’t matter the style. I’m thinking I need lighter weight ones. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Do you mean marks where their arms of the sunglasses press into the side your head? Or white lines when the rest of you has tanned?

If the former, you probably need wider frames.

I have some lightweight RayBans which don't leave marks or squeeze my head like others have.

you need ones without saddles. they distribute weight better.

I mean either side of my nose where they rest. Doesn’t matter if they have the rubber nose pads or just the plastic frames.

Then the nose bridge is too tight for you, take them to an optician and ask them to show you how to adjust them if they are button pads on wire, if they are plastic they will need heating up and splaying. If they are good quality it will be worth paying for an adjustment, if they are cheap crap then not worth it, and you get what you pay for.
On the inside of the frame there should be a measurement such as 56x16 or 52x15 and the smaller measurement is the bridge size.

No matter how wide I make the nose pads, they still leave a mark. It’s as though it’s the weight of them that leaves a mark. Even for 5 mins there is a mark. I must have thin pathetic skin 🤣

The arms might need adjusting to help shift the weight from your nose. Having fallen down a "how to adjust glasses to fit properly" rabbit hole recently, I've learnt that there it can be a bit of a balancing act getting the weight of them to sit just right.

I was literally just thinking this! I have raybans and love them.....but the pressure on my nose leaves marks and means I feel I can't wear them anywhere that they will be taken off. If anyone knows the solution to this, I'd be very glad to hear it 🤣

I have Raybans too. And I love them but I can’t spread the nose pads out anymore!

Perhaps you need to find the right shape and size to fit your nose better? Plain sunglasses cant weigh too much. Does it actually hurt? I always have marks, but I have real glass lenses.
