This should be easy to find but is surprisingly hard! A white vest top to go under dresses etc

It needs to be tight fitting as it is to go other things and I've got quite enough lard lumps and bumps of my own without clothes making them. It also needs NOT to have the sort of elastic round the neckline that goes grey after lots of washes. Can anyone tell me where I would find such a thing?!

Primark have them for a quid at the minute

I really like the vests in H&M. They currently have a smooth white cotton vest with a little elastane (helps it keep its shape) for £3.99. They have lots of other colours too.

SIL got me a nice one from Debenhams and it has adjustable straps.

If you look at Artigiano on-line, they have some sleeveless tops and camisoles that are double-faced at bust .... pricey though ...

H&M and wallis both do the smooth elastane-type ones with thin straps and thin hems, so best for under things.

And if you like extra length for covering muffin tops and the like under tops, go for the matty version - I still wear mine!

Actually, under dresses they also pull down nicely over your pants and give quite a smooth line!
