Really struggling to get a style for the warmer months. I'm a casual person and jeans are my staple usually.
Am struggling to find my place with clothes more and more.
Anyone felt like this and how did you get your head around it?

Some great ideas here! I always find summer tricky but determined to get a decent summer wardrobe this year.

I'm nearly 73, only one boob and a larger tummy than I used to have (medication related so not going anywhere). I can no longer dress v casual as I look like I'm a mad old bat and i can't do scruffy hair for the same reason. I concentrate on adding colour now (teal, shocking pink, turquoise, burnt orange all lift me) but only in snatches paired with dark grey, dark caramel or navy. I layer my tops so the underneath colourful one hangs loosely by a couple of inches (juts out over tummy) and I'm usually in wideish-leg trousers with tie or elastic waistbands; patterned maxi summer dresses (Monsoon, White Stuff etc) with a boxy cardigan or denim jacket/shacket. Accessories help and make me feel put together. I always look in a full-length mirror before I go out just in case it's a dog's dinner day!

Poetry, Cos and M&S for basics. I’m nearly 70 and find I buy from these stores regularly. M&S has a wider selection now. Yesterday I bought a great linen shirt from Jigsaw. I love shirts in silk, linen or cotton and cashmere pullovers in winter. Wide jeans suit me as I’m tall and I’m fond of Poetry linen wide trousers for summer. I think being older doesn’t mean no style but short skirts? Absolutely not. In summer a looser dress in a cotton always looks good with a Loewe woven bag.

I'm 59 and just about to go back to work after being poorly.
I've got very slim legs and arms but I don't wear vests. I've got a pouch after surgery.
I'm C-Suite so my go to is black silk and wool autograph trousers, a silk shell top and a blazer. I wear mainly Max Mara. The trousers I've bought for 13 years and I wash mine. The say dry clean but I use woolite and my delicates programme.

For lunches/ days out etc when Im not working I wear linen trousers and fitted top with a shirt over. I tie the shirt now I'm slimmer.
My trousers are seasalt and the shirts are Marks. I bought shocking pink, emerald and sapphire shirts. I also bought a lands end tomato linen shirt dress in the sale and kept it. I'll take the breast pockets off because I'm big busted. I don't need flappy bits.
Colour is so important, I am an autumn so I wear lots of green and a bit of orange.
Saharah have lovely things and do great dresses.
And get a good lipstick even if you only wear sunscreen. Buy on QVC if unsure because you can send it back. I still like Bobbi Brown and Nars.

The trouble with boxy tops is they hang off my boobs making me look bigger, how do I get round this.

I'm 61 & wear barrel/straight jeans with boho style tops in crinkle cotton/linen from Wrap/ Rose & Rose/Minerva via Tk Maxx. Neutral coloured trench/Suedette jackets from M&S. Neutral Linen shirt dresses from H&M/Tk Maxx & M&S. Some I've had for years. I'm updating them this year with leather rope belts in cream & black. In warmer weather beige linen shorts from H&M, white scoop neck vest tops from Zara & crinkle cotton/linen beach shirts or kimono ( last years Primark)
One thing I insist on is that i always have a large suede/leather hobo style bag in tan/neutral & comfortable shoes - generally Oofos flipflops or Adidas flatforms.
