Mid price face moisturiser help.

I am looking for a mid price moisturiser with SPF15 or more. I currently use Clarins super restorative day cream which is £80 for 50ml. I want to pay less, maybe £30/40. I am age 62 and have dryish skin with is fairly sensitive and prone to redness. I like my cream to be fairly thick and smell lush. The Clarins one has changed formulation recently and it is now much thinner in consistency. If anyone has any recommendation I will be very grateful. Thanks.

Do you have any favourites / recommendations for a good SPF?

I like the slightly tinted Avène spf, it’s in a smallish orange tube. I use a Dr Jart ceramide toner and then the spf in the morning, it doesn’t need a base then either, just a concealer touch up if there are specific things you want to touch up.

Then I just go ham in the evening and use the toner again, Cerave retinol and the Curél Moisturiser, I think that’s ceramide based (helps me not be a husk).

If anyone is interested I went for a Nivea 60+ one with spf 25. It was half price in Boots. Less than £8 and it is lovely.

Another vote for Inkey List Bioactive ceramide. You need a separate SPF, they are pointless when mixed into anything else.

I use ESPA Optimal Pro-Moisturiser, spf30. It’s meant to be £50 but I usually find a discount somewhere.

Oops, I see you’ve bought some.
