Unusually for me, I have a social life this summer. As usual, I can't afford a new frock. My wedding dress is ivory and a simple columnish sort of shape - slightly flared from the knees to the ankle - low scoop neckline, broad shoulder straps and little pearl and crystal beads sewn all over the straps and round the neckline.
With a fabulous necklace would it look like a fabulous summer dress, or just like an old bird in her wedding dress?
