Foundation brush

I use a liquid foundation. For years I've had a clinique brush but at the last wash it seems the glue has dissolved and it is coming apart. I fear I've cleaned it with too hot water. I never felt the spray stuff cleaned brushes properly
I have less cash these days and didn't particularly find the brush amazing. Can anyone recommend a reasonable priced foundation brush please

I bought a Real Techniques foundation brush years ago, and find it works brilliantly. It makes applying foundation almost effortless, and gives a really good finish. Though I don't use it every day it's still going strong, too. Definitely the best make up brush I've ever bought, and not silly money either.

I swear by M.A.C. Worth every penny!

I was using Real Techniques but recently bought some Elf brushes which I really like. I've had the about 6 months so I don't know if they'll last long term but they're all about £6.

Make up by Mario - the brush is £38 ISH
Brilliant brush

Thanks
Are you using the flat type brush or those flat headed ones that you kind of dab on (I've forgotten what you call them)

AYU brushes are fantastic and stand up to washing unlike Real Techniques which don't in my experience.

I’ve had a Mac one for about 15 years, worth the investment if you can afford it.

I’ve only ever used a flat brush, I always thought the dab on ones were more for powder based products.

I use a flat headed buffer type brush, either Morphe or Real Techniques

I’ve used some expensive brushes: rephr, Sonia G etc but the best foundation brush I’ve found is the IT Cosmetics one. Dual ended so good for concealer too.

Sorry, just googled it and realised it's called Expert Face Brush, not foundation brush. It's rounded at the top, not flat. I can't imagine anything working better than this one, using it for the first time was a revelation. Never felt the need to try anything else, and you can't go wrong for the price imo.
