Special neck creams or any cream?

Do you think that these special neck serums/creams make a difference or will just consistently using any good moisturiser in that area help? One friend says you need something to target that area and another swears by E45 used morning and night? I've wasted quite a lot of money on various neck potions and I'm reluctant to keep doing so unnecessarily! I didn't look after my neck when I was younger, it was that area that I missed (boy do I regret that now) and I know they only 'cure' is surgery, which isn't an option, but I'd like to try and limit any further damage if I can.

Currently using Boost 24 and not seeing any difference really.

I think all these special neck creams are merely moisturisers. I’ve tried a lot and probably wasted my money. They often have the same ingredients, yet the price varies wildly. The only one likely to make a difference is Tretinoin, which I use, even though it’s intended mainly for the face. Let’s face it, no cream can shrink or tighten the neck. I’d buy a tanker full if it did! I do think a good quality LED mask/machine helps too, as long as they are used consistently. The non surgical solutions are expensive, involve downtime, commitment to several sessions and often the results are barely discernible and don’t last very long. However, new treatments are emerging all the time so it’s worth waiting to see if they prove effective.
What annoyed me, was, that I paid for a highly acclaimed treatment, and when I mentioned it to the clinic staff some time afterwards, they said we don’t do that now , it’s not had very good results! Yet they happily take the money ! Perhaps they shouldn’t offer these treatments until they’ve proved to be effective, and tested over time and perhaps these clinics could refund or discount disappointed clients. They don’t, though, as they’ll say results depend on various factors. I’m disillusioned with these trumped up, overpriced miracle treatments!

I second Tretinoin if you’re looking to try with a cream. It’s in strengths up to 0.1% but that level can cause peeling. I use 0.025% on my neck - it’s a lower strength, but made a bigger improvement/reduction to my crepey skin than any other cream I’ve tried. You can get it from online pharmacies like Monderma and Dermatica.

Thank you, do you just search for that particular product @rumkar or is there a brand containing it that you recommend?
