PERMALIP LIP IMPLANTS

Just wondering if anybody has tried PERMALIP LIP IMPLANTS? I have previously tried fillers (I have naturally very thin lips) but they always seem to make the area above my top lip puff out. I’m thinking of trying the Permalip implants instead. Do these look natural and do they stay in place, or would I end up looking puffy above my top lip? Advice please😊

I’d suspect this is more of an injector issue than a filler issue tbh. Have you used someone medically trained ie; a dentist or someone who’s done a quick course to qualify and learned the trade on the job

Please don't. Find someone who is better qualified to give you lip fillers if you really must.

You'd be mad to get anything permanent in the lips.

Over the years there has been silicone, Gortex (ePTFE) , Bellafil (PMMA), mini saline filled silicone implants, all of which have caused huge PERMANENT problems for many.

Lips are a flexible, dynamic and intricate interlacing of muscles covered with a thin veneer of fat and specialised transitional epithelium(skin-white roll-dry vermilion-wet vermilion-mucosa).

Even so-called biologic implants (temporalis fascia or Alloderm ) seem to shorten and tighten the upper lip and can cause years of misery thereafter. Just say no to any implants.

Haven’t had any lip fillers for several years and when I did it was restaylane. Did not experience any adverse effects but it didn’t last and made above my upper lip look a bit puffy/trout. I was therefore thinking about a silicone lip implant. I suppose an alternative might be a lift lift? I’ve read that the scarless lip lift is safest as you don’t run the risk of scarring that other lip lift procedures such as the bull horn lift do. It’s a bit of a minefield - you don’t want to be one of the disaster stories which can happen even with the best trained cosmetic surgeon.

I don’t even know what that is but it sounds like a terrible idea. If I ever decide to get lip fillers I would only go to Dr Harris in London. Check out his instagram page, he’s very honest and gets some truly natural results.

TBH, never seen any lip enhancement that looked natural or made a person look prettier. Like Scouse brows it's a fashion and will change with time. Better to do the minimum temporary filler if you really have that need to do do it.
