Where have all the mini briefs gone?

PurpleSkittler · 20/03/2025 08:26

Women's mini briefs - do they still exist? Not high-rise, not midis, not full briefs.

I'm just want a basic black multipack, no lace, but can't find them. Probably reflects my age - have they become the new granny knickers? Or so unfashionable that they don't get made anymore?

All help appreciated - I'll post a pic of the type of thing I mean....

I switched to midi then full for comfort, i guess I wasn’t alone. Have you tried online?

minnienono · 20/03/2025 08:28

Mine in that style are 10 years old

Coffeeishot · 20/03/2025 08:30

Next have pants like those, I can't remember what they call them maybe midi ? But definitely that shape and very comfortable, have you tried supermarkets?

AmythestBangle · 20/03/2025 08:31

Surely M and S have some?

HomeBodyClub · 20/03/2025 08:34

Primark used to always have them. I might have bought those ones for teens period pants recently.

TheFairyCaravan · 20/03/2025 08:35

These are the ones I have from Next. They call them bikini briefs for some reason.

Yes those ! Tbh I just pick up packs I didn't really know what they were. Anyway the comfiest of pants 😃

StamppotAndGravy · 20/03/2025 09:15

They're called bikinis in M&S

DuchessOfNarcissex · 20/03/2025 09:16

Primark and Tesco have them. M& S probably do them too.
I like the shorts from Primark for fit.

Cotton Bikini Knickers at M&S

Ddakji · 20/03/2025 09:17

They’re called bikini briefs in M&S and they do stock them. But the quality has gone downhill so I get mine in Fat Face now.

MorrisZapp · 20/03/2025 09:21

Primark still do them in multipack boxes (very cute) but it's a heck of a hunt to find them in amongst the brazilians, cheekies, midis and maxis. They're the skinny jeans of the knicker drawer and I'm not giving mine up!

It has been quite a while since I've bought any...

I've tried a couple of branches of Asda, Tesco & Sainsbury's. I thought I'd also tried M&S, but now I'm doubting myself.

So thanks for the suggestions - I'll take a look in Primark, Next and M&S 🤞

I nearly posted this a while ago. I’ve worn these my entire life and it’s really irritating trying to find them now. M&S do them but we don’t have any near us so I’m waiting to do a bulk order when I get desperate! I really need Sainsbury’s to start stocking them again. Can’t stand shorts or thongs and everything else feels like too
much clothing.

Maddy70 · 21/03/2025 02:21

Tesco.

PurpleSkittler · 25/05/2025 22:19

Just thought I'd report back - very much later! - that I got some in Primark and they're just what I was after. Thanks everyone...

I’ve just bought M&S midis on EBay, so comfy and similar

TatteredAndTorn · 25/05/2025 23:36

I buy them from M&S. Only ones that are comfy and, don’t ride up the bum and don’t come up too far at the front.

minipie · 25/05/2025 23:39

I wear that style (cotton only) and Amazon basics have been the best I’ve tried - but need to size up to prevent wedgies. Also lots of choice of colours.

Giraff3 · 25/05/2025 23:45

M&s and primark both sell them

PiscesScot · 26/05/2025 06:53

M&S low rise shorts, just bought a black 5 pack this week!

Smidge001 · 25/08/2025 18:16

Just found this thread after searching for whether M&S have stopped selling their mini briefs. I'm gutted as it seems they have. Yes they do sell bikini briefs but they aren't the same. (My mum always used to buy the bikinis and I'd buy the minis. So it's not just a rename). The bikinis are slightly thicker at the sides than the minis.

I'll post a pic of them both so you can see the diff. Sounds as though after nearly 50 years I may have to start buying underwear elsewhere Sad. V disappointed. Wish they'd made an announcement in advance so I could have stocked up!!

Smidge001 · 25/08/2025 23:33

Mini on the left, bikini on the right. Both the same size. Bring back the minis please M&S!

Where have all the mini briefs gone?
