E45 but without the plastic container

I’m trying to cut out single use plastics where I can. I’ve always used e45 as it just works well with my skin but it only comes in plastic containers. Does anyone have a suggestion for something similar, not in a plastic container and reasonably inexpensive? Under £20 for a large tub sort of price.

I feel like I might as well be asking for the moon!

What kind of container do you think it would come in? Can't think of any emollient that comes in recyclable packaging. Like a tin or...??

Like tin or glass? Doesn’t have to be exactly e45 could be something else that someone feels works well for them as well.

It's more perfumed than E45 but traditional blue Nivea is still available in a metal tin.

@ThanksItHasPockets Thanks! I’ll give it a try.

Lard comes wrapped in paper.

@WannabeMathematician - would you feel a bit better if you bought a really big tub of E45 - that would reduce the amount of single use plastic you were using?

To be honest, I suspect most creams of this sort will come in single use plastic, because that is easier when they are used in clinical environments.

I applaud your desire to reduce the amount of single use plastic you use, but sadly I suspect it's nigh impossible to eliminate it altogether.

I forgot to say - I have looked on Amazon, and 500g seems to be the biggest tub/bottle that these sort of creams come in.

I use Diprobase - I have eczema, and I use it to ward off flare-ups - it suits my skin well. The largest bottle I can get is 500g, but that does last me for ages. I can't say whether it lasts longer than the same amount of E45, though - sorry.
