A REALLY sensitive/hypoallergenic self tan

My skin isn’t the most reactive, but every single self tan I’ve tried has triggered eczema on my arms (I only get eczema as a reaction to certain body products) I don’t tan naturally at all and would like to not look like I have blue legs this summer. Has anyone found a really good self tan for reactive/sensitive skin I could try? I know I react to Skinny Tan, and Garnier gradual tanner but can’t remember all the others! Thanks

Have you tried Sol Skin? I’ve not tried it myself but someone I follow on Instagram used it and said it’s gentle on eczema prone skin (I get eczema and just have pale sensitive skin so struggle to find anything that doesn’t irritate). But I’m tempted to give this one a go.

If you’re reacting to fake tan every time, unfortunately you probably ought to stop using it / trying different ones. I know it’s not what you want to hear! But there is a small risk that the reactions could escalate in severity. It’s likely the underlying ingredients (used across a range of brands) that your skin doesn’t tolerate).

Entirely possible and tbh I’ve used it very little as a result, a couple of times over the last few years to see and obviously don’t continue when I have a reaction, it’s not always first application. But I do hold out hope I might be ok with something and it’s not a big enough reaction to not at least have a go 😊
