Has anyone found something to help loose skin on the stomach that doesn’t involve surgical procedure?

After 5 children and just naturally ageing to 45 years, my stomach is a bit of an issue about how I feel about myself naked or in swimwear. I’d love something to improve the texture and appearance of the skin, if anyone has any suggestions.
The number one thing that makes me feel better about my body is a tan, so I regularly get one (out of a bottle of course) and it does help the appearance of my belly. But I’m just wondering if there is something I’m missing or a product I can buy to help with the loose skin. Thanks.

Hifu is good.

It looks very similar to mine! 45 is no age, don’t be checking yourself out as “aged”!

please don’t take offence when I say this - I see a tummy that is core-weak and carrying a small bit of weight, evident by your bellybutton (mine is like this too, I think my skin above it stretched after my last pregnancy). The texture of your skin looks absolutely fine! try tone up with a kettlebells class or something - great for core?

@BoobyslimsThank you, I don’t take offence to what you’re saying at all. I’m terribly lazy when it comes to actual exercise, the kids keep me busy all day every day. But actual gym/fitness type stuff…I guess I just need to accept that it’s not going to happen unless I put the work in. There’s no magic cream to fix a saggy tummy.

@ph3thank you, I will go and read up about that now.

I don’t know if this shows it better, but I’m not unhappy with my weight. It’s literally just crepey wrinkled skin around my navel and around a c-section scar which I probably shouldn’t show for decency reasons.

Oh yes it’s clearer in that photo! You look very different in this one, apologies don’t my earlier post, I don’t think you’ve weight to lose in this pic. Oddly enough when I get back down to fighting fit weight, that’s when I get the crepey skin. I have a bit of it below my belly button. I had a huuuuge baby who was two weeks late and it just busted me up. My core never fully recovered. If there is a solution got the crepe I’m all ears too :)

I’m 5’ 8’’ and a size 10 so I’m happy with my weight and physique in general. It’s just the loose skin that is affecting my confidence. 😞
I can see it more easily in natural light and it looks much worse than the photo I guess. It wrinkles up around my belly button and I can’t wear anything exposing that area like a bikini. Is there some sort of miracle cream that will put the collagen back on to the skin on my belly?

Someone has told me about laser tummy tuck but I’ve not seen anyone who’s had it done - it’s in my list of things to look out for !

Try pilates. It wont get rid of the loose skin but if you tighten up the muscles underneath it should also help your skin tone.
(Doesnt have to take much time. I just do a 20min YT routine twice a week).

I echo the Pilates suggestion. I'm 64 and had five babies - my bellybutton is invisible without a crane these days (because gravity is a thing, even if you aren't carrying weight - I'm not), but Pilates has strengthened my core and tightened all the muscles in my abdomen. So I can still wear a bikini and my abs are decent. I think sometimes we just have to accept that time and gravity will always catch up with us.

Oh, this is an interesting concept for me.

I'm not yet at the stage where I'm ready for skin removal, but had totally discounted the possibility because I don't react well to scaring there's a name for it which I can't remember but my skin reacts badly at first the sky is just a wee silver line and looks fine but then it kind of erupts and looks like a right mess. I decided that the scaring I'm left with Is probably as bad if not worse than just having the saggy skin.🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️

but I'll be definitely looking into the laser tummy tuck though no idea how that would work??

@thaigirl if my stomach looked like yours, I'd be elated!! Not that it really helps you when you're not but I would say with some exercises you can do at home and some moisturising even something like bio oil you'll end up with the result you're happy with. But good luck with someone recommending a particularly brilliant cream for moisturising and toning creamy skin!!

At least you have some beautiful children to show for it!!

can you recommend a YouTube Pilates routine/ account? I do a class once a week but think I would benefit from doing it at home as well and I never know where to start for finding a good one
