Please help recommend refillable shampoo/shower gel etc bottles.
I got some from Amazon but they either leak or don't squirt the gel out in normal amounts.

I bought a set of plastic travel bottles from Superdrug that have been used countless times - you can also buy in Superdrug mini shampoo's/conditioners and then afterwards keep the bottle to refill for other trip.
I save all my smaller sample type bottles and use these for different things when I travel.
If you put one tape over the lid that should keep it secure when you travel.

Primark ones are fab. We get them every year and have never had an issue with leaks

nestofvipers · 16/03/2025 20:38

I think Muji ones are the best, but not the cheapest. You want the squeezable ones. I’ve never had issues with leaks and they last ages- mine must be at least 15 years old.

Why do you buy them every year?

That’s a good point!

I bought some for my last trip and they are really good. Squeezable and easy to fill.

also, as someone else said, just refill travel size bottle. Although I do like the squeezability of the primark ones.

I save mini/sample bottles to refill .

Years ago , we were in a nice hotel , my Mum had a clear refillable bottle full of ginger bodywash and it looked like a bottle of piss !

I do have a travelset but I find the labels are a faff and I can never remember what is in them !

Why do you buy them every year?

Because usually one or more of them end up being lost/left at our destination. And sometimes we just need more.

Themostbeautifulcats · 16/03/2025 21:44

I’d recommend the squeezy Muji ones too.

I’d recommend the squeezy Muji ones too.

And me. In fact I’m off to buy a few more tomorrow for an upcoming trip.

Isometimeswonder · 18/03/2025 12:33

Thank you. Will look at Muji.

The ones I have are squeezy. They have a sort of valve, a rubber bit where the shampoo would come out. But when you squeeze either none comes out or loads does!

That's why I need new ones... fingers crossed 🤞

I refill the Tresemme travel miniature bottles. They have a robust screw top. I tend to buy new conditioner miniatures though as pouring it from a larger bottle is awkward.

Isometimeswonder · 21/03/2025 15:14

I should have said, I want them big enough for a week. They don't have to be miniature hand luggage ones.

Boots do plastic squeezy ones that will contain enough for a week or even 10 days.

sammylady37 · 21/03/2025 15:17

And they don’t leak!
they also do pots with lids that are good for moisturiser etc.

BiddyPopthe2nd · 23/03/2025 13:19

I have used Muji travel bottles, spray bottles, tubes and little screw top pots for years, very successfully.

the ones that have a flip top are great but don’t screw them down too tight as the screw top pops off…

they also have sizes from 100ml, 50ml, 30ml and smaller depending on your needs. I only tend to use 100ml for week long or longer trips- mostly I have 30 or 50 ‘ml sizes of shampoo, Conditioner and shower gel, and 30 or even 10 ml of cleanser, hair serum, toothpaste etc.
