Got all the clothes new when we were shopping in Brussels on Friday/Saturday. My DD got some very sweet camouflage trousers from same shop (Bellerose).

my legs are rubbish

I think ankles are fine (well they are not puffy or anything and they are obviously there IYSWIM) but calves are quite large and knees are fat

Crops aren't easy to get right IMO.

I have very strong loathing for that French Versailles maman look of beige straight cut crops that end just below mid calf at exactly the most unflattering point worn with pastel Bensimon sneakers, pastel Lacoste shirt and a velvet headband

mink coloured cropped trousers with embroidered bits on calf, white gap skinny t-shirt. No shoes or necklace yet.

(really wanted to renew my silver pair but have bought dd a pair of silver boden sandals and thought it might look a bit naff !).

I've just received a parcel with my new silver Birkenstocks. I love them - but I suspect I might be alone!

REALLY? Wow, I thought I was stuck in a 70's timewarp for wanting them! They really are fab, but I think it's my firm belief that silver birkies will go with absolutely everything that might make my dp's eyebrows rise !
