Microblading or a better option?

I had my eyebrows microbladed a few years ago, actually I say microbladed but they are like solid tattoos... I hate them so much, I am having them removed in a week (already had a small test and it worked very well). I have very little eyebrow hair and will need to have something to replace them so what would you suggest please? I want them to look natural with individual strokes. Thanks in advance.

I’ve always been scared of bad microblading so I use a very skinny eyebrow pencil, it’s the NYX micro pencil, inexpensive and works well… obviously takes time to do every day but only 1 min max.

The other option is brow serum, but the ones that supposedly work are expensive (£75+) and you have to use it every day for weeks/months to see effects… plus I’m not sure what happens when you run out!

How did you get them removed? I have been looking at options for this as mine has faded to a strange colour and I don't think I want them doing again.

I do think however that the micro blading now is much better than 7-8 years ago when I first did mine so you are likely to have a much better experience if you go with a reputable artist.

Would also love to know roughly what area you're in for the removal, I've asked around where I live and nobody seems to do it!

Thanks both. What I need to do is take a bit of time and not panic and rush! @eyespartyparty I'm in Cheshire if that's any good? And it's Pico laser removal. She thought I'd need 3 sessions but after a small test, I think will be done in one.

To be honest, I havent seen any that look good beyond a year or two. They tend to fade or go a horrible unrealistic colour.

If you're blonde or a red-head, i think powder looks better. Pomade is best on darker hair.

I have friends who's all look great but I think the difference is that they have quite a lot of hair to start with so it's just filling in the gaps. I have hardly any hair towards the ends of my brows though so any colour is very obvious and has to look natural!
Hence me wanting to get rid of the reddish tone...

Thank you for the pico laser info, I have heard of that but not locally so I may have to travel.

What is your natural hair colour? I also think I'll go for the powder brows or pomade but need advice whether I should just go over the top of this colour or try to get it removed first.

Micropigmentation/machine method are a lot less blocky looking, had mine done in 2017 and they've faded out fine

Thanks for your messages, I'll look into that @faithspikebuffy . My hair is mouse naturally, they're grey now. Argh! I got some transfers from a woman who has alopecia, so I might give those a go at first as I really don't think there's much there to go with.

If you do decide to have them microbladed again drop me a pm if you want a recommendation for somebody that’s brilliant in Liverpool

@Shuttheblinds Apparently private messaging is disabled! Yes please to the recommendation...
