Florence4170 · 26/02/2025 11:25

Any recommendations please? I know we cannot halt the
march of time, but I am really aware if my neck getting wrinkly. I have used Prai in the past. Is there anything better? Many thanks.

Watching with interest, I bought Prai following recommendations on here...complete waste of money

While you search for the ultimate cream use something, anything, on your neck morning and evening and every time you shower/bathe. I find the frequency makes a real difference no matter the product.

GrannyOfDragons · 26/02/2025 13:56

I noticed a real difference with this.

This Works Perfect Cleavage and Neck Serum is excellent. Has a slightly odd, almost medicinal fragrance but it has really improved the look of my neck! Better than Prai IMO.

Yep. I did the same

Organic caster oil is the only thing making mine slightly better

I might try Gold Bond.

Fitzcarraldo353 · 28/02/2025 18:45

I love the Beauty Pie one too but as you've noticed, you have to be a member or it's pricey. It does last ages though, using it twice a day.

suburburban · 28/02/2025 18:47

I quite like the Prai creams

retreatingheadlights · 28/02/2025 18:49

Prai did nothing for mine. I use Clinique smart serum and moisturiser. The purple one. It's definitely better.

JoanThursday · 28/02/2025 18:49

I use hyaluronic acid twice a day and take it down to my neck and upper chest. I think my neck has improved since I started using it regularly a few months ago.

I was disappointed with Prai, and I didn't like the smell - too perfumed for me.

I quite like the Prai creams

But it does nothing for your neck- it’s just an overpriced moisturiser

suburburban · 28/02/2025 22:03

I think it does make a difference

Jumbojem · 28/02/2025 23:19

I just take my face moisturiser down my neck (and hyaluronic acid as with PP said). I don't use expensive moisturisers and usually get too much out for just my face anyway. What exactly is a neck specific one offering than a higher price/yet another product?

Recycledblonde · 01/03/2025 10:35

I use Trinny elevator. This is my neck which I don’t think is too bad for aged 60.

Neck/Throat Cream?

Naaaah, you don’t need a neck cream. Or a little finger cream, or a cream for that little roll of fat between the chest and the armpit, or an elbow cream, or any such nonsense.

Here’s my recipe for neck and chest care:

  1. Tretinoin OR any retinol/retinal you already use on your face.
  2. Some kind of hydratimg serum - the same one you’d use on your face, Byoma in the blue bottle is absolutely amazing. Use liberally. Feel free to substitute with any other hydrating serum. I like to ensure that I get both hyaluronic acid and glycerin for maximum plumping effect.
  3. Moisturiser. I quite like Aveeno lately, but any old thing will do, cheap or expensive.
  4. Vaseline. Lots and lots of Vaseline to seal it all in.

Enjoy your prettier neck 🩷

EdinaMonsoon · 01/03/2025 11:16

I tried the Trinny Elevator cream and it gave me terrible eczema/sore itchy skin. Looking at the reviews, I'm not the only one.

I use my regular moisturiser all the way down my neck and over my collar bones. Sunday Riley Vitamin C range is excellent.

Agree with other posters who say regular application of any cream will help. Don't forget to work on posture, and incorporate lymphatic drainage techniques into your skin care routine (lots of info out there on this). And make sure you are drinking enough water and getting plenty of vitamins C & E in your diet for healthy skin.

ThatOtherAustenSister · 01/03/2025 11:58

I don't think any creams work.

Ideally if you can afford it, it's a case of Botox and other tweakments like dermaroller.

DecafDodger · 01/03/2025 12:14

whatever you use on your face can also be used on your neck. Don't forget to introduce any new active ingredients carefully though - if you've only been using retinol on face, you need to start it on the neck gradually and in low dose.

Tretinoin will work. Your neck will peel though so use a low strength from Monderma, Dermatica etc. Also try to moisturise with hyaluronic acid twice a day.

IBloodyLoveMyBlanket · 01/03/2025 21:36

Does Tret work for crepey texture? I have lots of vertical lines on my neck.
